I have visited Coronado Brewing Company,
in Coronado, San Diego County, California, USA.

Brewery/Brewpub Location Map

Reason for Visit: I was in town on business and the family came along to visit relatives in the area. The brewpub is located on Coronado Island along historic Orange Avenue. Driving from downtown San Diego via the San Diego-Coronado Bridge is absolutely spectacular. We went to the brewpub on on one of their Kids Nights, which was just fine with our little one in tow, and we had a great time.

Coronado Brewing Company Pint Glass Glassware: The Coronado Brewing Company pint glass features a full color design printed on clear glass. It is designed to look like a plate worked into a wrought iron gate. The central image is a legendary mermaid with long flowing red hair rising above the waves of the sea. The name of the brewpub arcs above the central image. Within the "C" of Coronado nestles an image of the famous Hotel Del Coronado, the city's most prominent landmark, forming a left-most border. An interesting mirror-image of the letter "C" forms a right framing point, and contains the image of a vintage sailing ship. Further identifying information arcs along a lower scroll and a crowning crest. The entire logo evokes seafaring in the 18th and 19th Centuries when Tall Ships and their associated folklore and imagery ruled the California coast.
Coronado Brewing Company Pint Glass Coaster: A similar design can be found on the Coronado Brewing Company coaster. The only difference is that the coaster format allows for more text on its oval-shaped design. An arc along the top exclaims it to be "Coronado's Premier MicroBrewery" (does it really have much competition, though?). An arc along the bottom lists its street address, telephone number and website URL.
