Reason for Visit: We were in Australia on vacation. At one point we spent several days near Brisbane and figured it was certainly worth checking out some breweries. Castlemaine Perkins is a large brewery, and perhaps their most well-known beer is 4-X. I can't type out it's real name because I don't want my website to be blacklisted by filters, but certainly you can see the name on the coaster and pilsner glass below.

Front of Coaster: The coaster is for one of Castlemaine Perkins' flagship beers, 4X. This particular coaster celebrates the beer's connection to the sport of Rugby. |

Glassware: The pilsner glass for 4X beer features a more traditional color logo printed on clear glass. The name of the beer displayed horizontally in the middle is the focus of the design. Above it is a drawing of the brewery and the printed name of the brewery. A diagonal banner below the 4X name notes that it's "naturally brewed." Barley stalks run diagonally in the other direction, adorned with a few hop cones. Finally, at the bottom it proclaims that the beer has been brewed "since 1876" |
