Reason for Visit: I have spent a lot of time in Chapel Hill. There are many fine shops and restaurants on Franklin Street, Carolina Brewery included, located adjacent to the University of North Carolina.
Front of Coaster: The Carolina Brewery coaster is aligned in a circular configuration with multiple colors on a beige background. Their familiar logo appears as the central image. It features a rectangle with the name of the brewery and a line of barley stalks and a centrally-located hop cone formed horizontally. This rests on a diamond shaped patter with alternating blue and red quadrants. A lower arcing banner lists the city, and the entire design is flanked by more barley stalks. Outer border text proclaims this to be "Chapel Hill's Brewery & Restaurant, and provides the exact street address.
Glassware: The front of the the pint glass features the familiar logo printed in red and blue.
Glassware - Back: And the back of the pint glass contains the slogan, "Chapel Hill's 1st Microbrewery and Restaurant."
Glassware: On the growler we again see the familiar logo, this time in blue on a beige background. Further information notes that the growler is 1/2 gallon and contains "Freshly Brewed All Natural Beer," and reminds consumers that this is a perishable product that should be kept refrigerated.
Glassware - Back: The back of the growler reads, "Carolina Brewery is proud to bring the brewing Renaissance to North Carolina and continue the fine brewing tradition of over a century ago. Please enjoy one of our handcrafted ales and lagers from Carolina Brewery, brewed without any additives or preservatives in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. OLD NORTH STATE STOUT / FRANKLIN STREET LAGER / COPPERLINE AMBER ALE."
Apparel: The Front of the Carolina Brewery T-shirt contains the central portion of their logo in a small printed design on the upper-left portion of the shirt.
Apparel: And the back of the shirt contains the full logo in very large form across the entirety of the back

Items featured on these breweriana pages are personal souvenirs of my visits to these locations, and an expression of the events and travels leading to their collection. They are not for sale or for trade.
