I have visited Cambridge House Brewpub,
in the Town of Granby, Connecticut, USA.

Brewery/Brewpub Location Map

Reason for Visit: I stopped at Cambridge House on the evening before my extreme geography tour of Connecticut. Granby, where Cambridge House is located, is right near the "notch" known as the Southwick Jog.

Cambridge House Brewpub Patio Outdoor Patio: I drove by Cambridge House a couple of times without realizing I was the right place. It looks more like someone's house! I finally figured it out and parked behind the brewpub where they have an outdoor patio/deck sort-of biergarten complete with hop trellises running up the exterior wall. It was a hot, humid day. Otherwise I would have been tempted. I chose to go indoors instead.
Cambridge House Brewpub Brewpub Bar: It's a cozy space dominated by a large rectangular bar. I came early on a Friday evening and things were already in full swing. Everyone seemed to know everyone else so it must have been the regulars stopping by for a beer after a long week of work, before heading home.
Cambridge House Brewpub Patio Sampler: I ordered a sampler, of course, so I could try all of the Cambridge House beers on tap that day. The east coast style was readily apparent, with a subtle use of hops in each of the beer styles featured. I'd just returned from ten days in the Pacific Northwest so the subtlety was a refreshing contrast. They were all quite enjoyable.
