Google Maps Street View: The Big Bear Brewing Company appears in this Google Street View image. It's located in a nondescript suburban strip mall shopping center. While there's nothing special about its location, Big Bear Brewing is a welcome oasis in the beer wasteland known as South Florida. They have by far the best beer we found anywhere in this portion of the state.
Exterior: This is a better view of the Big Bear Brewing Company. Notice the inviting outdoor patio in the foreground. I'm sure that in the summer this may be an oppressively hot and humid vantage but it was definitely the place to be on this gorgeous springtime day. Naturally this is where we chose to sit as we went through a couple of samplers and a meal.
Logo: Yeh, I know I'm not going to win any awards for photography and apologize in advance for this blurry image. Nonetheless I think it provides a decent enough rendition of the logo for casual viewers to recognize its features. A green oval underlies a smaller white oval emblazoned with the name of the brewery in a yellow font arcing across the upper third. The location, Coral Springs, Florida, is noted in the lower portion. Rows of barley and a bear paw frame the bottom.
Brewing Equipment: The brewing plant is on display behind glass panels from the dining room. Several tanks can be seen in the foreground and well into the background. There is also a second story loft holding bags of malt. If you look carefully along the left side of the image you can just barely see a reflection of me taking the photo. Oops.
Brands: Several Big Bear Brewing Company brand logos are mounted on the wall within the entry foyer. The ones pictured here are the Bruin Premium Root Beer (OK, not really a beer but it's still pretty neat that they make their own soda), Polar Light and Black Bear Stout.
