A Rainy Day at Porto Martins |
We stopped where land met water. This was the location of the swimming hole set among the stone. It was cold, rainy and too early in the year to go swimming but it did offer some excellent views of town and the surrounding area. Rain moved in and just as quickly blew away. A few minutes later it was sunny again.

Porto Martins Waterfront |
This photography looks back on Porto Martins and its protected waterfront. Luxurious homes of red tiled roofs and freshly whitewashed walls looked across the ocean.

A Panoramic View |
Agriculture was also common in this area. Green fields rode the gently rolling hillsides of Terceira's southeastern plains.
