Often in my travels I come across "strange geography." I love strange geography whether it's due to unusual natural occurrences, cultural distinctions, or man-made lines visible only on maps. As a child I spent hours looking at maps, wondering what the underlying land looked like. As an adult I have been able to visit some of those anomalies I noticed earlier, and actively go out of my way to catalog them.

I have visited nearly every location described on this page. I am always interested in discovering more and welcome your comments on strange geography you have visited or think I should see. While I am most interested in the United States and Canada, I would also enjoy suggestions from other locations too.
