THIS FILE IS FOR GENEALOGICAL PURPOSES ONLY

Several months ago I began transcribing and indexing the "Sylvester Family of Plainview, Minnesota" book. An electronic version of the book existed but not in a format that would work on a modern computer. So last winter I began retyping the book by hand and undertaking a painstaking effort to develop an index in order to conduct further research on some of the incidents that are described in the book. At long last I've finally managed to transcribe the entire book and convert it into HTML format. I've completed a comprehensive index for the first 42 pages and hope to add more at a later time. I hope you enjoy this fascinating family story. All of it is true.
